JOBS AT CONCERTS

Concerts.

Work where the music plays.

Arena, club, open-air: at concerts, you make sure fans get in quickly, have a drink in their hand in no time and enjoy a great time. You sell drinks, check tickets or look after the cloakroom – right in the middle of it all when the lights go down.

THIS AWAITS YOU

Typical tasks at concerts.

Whether you are stationed at the bar or on the door is decided before the shift. That way, you only commit to what suits you.

1

BEVERAGES

Sell beverages

You pull pints, serve drinks, take payments and keep up the pace even when the queues are long.

2

TILL

Process payment

Whether by card, cash or payment wristband: you process payments quickly and give out deposit cups and change correctly.

3

ADMISSION

Scan tickets

You scan tickets, hand out wristbands and ensure that things move along swiftly at the entrance.

4

CLOAKROOM

Attend the cloakroom

You take in coats, issue tokens and keep track once the encore is over, when everyone leaves at the same time.

5

MERCH

Sell fan merchandise

Shirts, posters, mugs: at the merchandise stand, you advise fans, take payments and restock items.

6

SET-UP & DISMANTLING

Help out before and after the show

Stock the counters, refill cups, sort empty containers and dismantle everything again after the concert.

In short: without experience, you will usually start on admissions, the cloakroom or cup returns. With each shift, bar work and the till are added.

Particularly suitable for you if …

you love live music

You’ll be there when the arena shakes – not on stage, but right in the thick of it.

you have time in the evening

Concerts take place in the evenings and at weekends. During the day, there is time for university, school or a main job.

you like tempo

Before the start and during the interval, the bar is at its busiest. Anyone who keeps a cool head then is in the right place here.

you enjoy working in a team

At the counter and at the entrance, everything only works as a team. You lend a hand wherever it is most needed.

NO TRAINING REQUIRED.

What you should bring with you.

You do not need any hospitality training. What matters is speed, a positive attitude and confidence handling money – the rest will be shown to you by the team on site.

Kindness under pressure

Even with a long queue and loud music, you remain friendly and clear.

Reliability

Everything must be ready before doors open. You arrive on time – even if the show starts later.

Care with money

You process payments quickly and accurately, even when several orders come in at the same time.

Endurance

You stand for many hours, carry boxes and stay until after the encore.

Appropriate clothing

Mostly black clothing and comfortable, closed-toe shoes, sometimes a dress shirt. What exactly is required is stated in your assignment information.

Protection of minors at the bar: Beer, wine and sparkling wine may only be served from the age of 16, and spirits and mixed drinks containing them only from the age of 18. If in doubt, ask to see their ID.

When, where and with whom you work.

Concerts follow the show schedule. So that you know what to expect, here are the key details on timings, locations and the team.
